After five years of R&D, Solinco was ready to launch its most powerful string yet. Expectations were high— the launch needed to feel just as bold.
Early traction came from playtest data, pro feedback, and insider forums—long before it hit the market. Mach-10, the blue string, was gaining recognition before it even had a name. With an entirely new chemical formulation engineered for power, comfort, and durability, it wasn’t just another string—it was set up to be the next generation of co-poly.
Players were demanding the launch. So, we took them literally—by literally launching Mach-10 into space. A world first.
I led the creative campaign from concept to execution—helped name it Mach-10 to capture its explosive power, designed the packaging, and pitched the idea of launching it into space.
One of the most successful string launches in the industry—outperforming Wilson, Babolat, Luxilon, and Yonex. Sold out at Tennis Warehouse and pro shops worldwide. Record-breaking opening weekend.
